Regardless of diligence and discipline, regardless of how technologically advanced your workout routine or how clean and pure your eating is, there is one factor that influences success in fitness more than any other. I’ve discovered and proven it in my years of experience and it’s time to share my discovery…
Simply stated it is MOOD.

Let me explain. There is specific physiology and psychology that govern regenerative processes in the body that directly correlates to feeling energetic, optimistic and finally happy. This means that you can’t just like the idea of fitness, you have to embrace the process to the point of enjoying what it takes to be healthy and fit and finally, you have to accurately think of yourself as a fit person.
So if you are forcing yourself to get fit or think what you want is just unachievable or deep down, you think fitness is fleeting or temporary, then you’ll never achieve your goal of getting there, regardless of what type of exercise or nutrition plan you are following.
How many of us have been in better shape than they are now? Most of us! Why is that?
It is because of our mindset right now. It is because of our mood and attitude. I have observed very similar clients with similar goals get very different results because they approached fitness and life with a different mindset. This has been shown time and time again in research. Those who had the right psychology had a definitive advantage in beating a life threatening disease, surviving a disaster or even surviving combat.
So ho can we get this “right psychology” and thus develop our mood and mind-set and develop the right attitude?
I can confidently say I’m in better shape at 45 than I was at 20, 30 or 40. I can confidently say I’m in better shape than when I was an active duty Marine Officer, 20 years after the fact. Shouldn’t the aging process count against me? Shouldn’t the economy, loss of family and friends to cancer and an uncertain future drive me down?
It is expected that it should by many today, but it should not. Armed with these specific methods and nutrients that constantly refresh my mood, my metabolism, my recovery from daily stresses and ultimately change my attitude and mindset for a successful and fit life, I’ve busted through several fitness plateaus, injuries and other invisible roadblocks to my success.
